Position Description

OnSite Energy is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated individual to join our company as our Director of Sales. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Director of Sales will work with the company owners and members of the finance and operations departments to facilitate the overall growth and success of the organization. Through the direction and guidance of their team of project developers and sales consultants, their primary responsibility is to execute sales strategies that maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance the company’s brand reputation. The Director of Sales will also work closely with our marketing team to provide market insights, expand our customer base, and establish strategic partnerships. Additional duties include -but are not limited to- management of financial budgets, resource planning, staff compliance with company policies, and employee evaluations. This position is based out of our headquarters in Bozeman, Montana.

Core responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to:
  • Sit on the company’s executive leadership team and contribute to regularly setting, reviewing, and adjusting overall strategic plans and company goals
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments to departmental strategies to achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Regularly maintain and improve departmental processes, standard operating procedures, and software tools
  • Represent our company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand image and showcase market differentiation
  • Expand the company’s market presence by identifying new target markets and cultivating the strategic partnerships to build a strong sales pipeline in those markets.

Previous Experience and Required Skills

We are seeking candidates with 8+ years of professional experience in a sales-based industry, preferably construction. Previous experience managing sales teams in a fast-paced business environment is a plus. Candidates must possess effective communication and negotiation skills, have a strong understanding of the sales cycle, and the ability to close deals. They must also be adept at using CRM software to track sales opportunities and manage customer interactions, and be able to motivate and energize sales team members. Compensation and Benefits

The Director of Sales position is full-time annual, and will be compensated with a base salary plus commission on team sales.
