Update: HB 643, the bad net metering bill, was tabled in committee on Monday night. The motion to move the bill forward failed on a 7-6 vote. Thank you SO much to everyone who spoke up about this- we're so grateful to you and the strong solar community we have built together. We'll keep an eye out for any other anti-solar bills as we head into the second half of the legislative session, but for now we're just grateful for the votes and proud of the work this community did to make sure our elected officials know that fair access to renewable energy is what Montanans want. Onward!
