Matt McCune and his wife Shannon are the owners of our shop/office building at 619 N. Church in Bozeman's northeast neighborhood. Matt also owns one of the businesses in the building called Autopilot, which is a world-class design and manufacturing company. As neighbors and friends, we had been discussing solar on the roof since we moved into the space in the spring of 2014. We are thrilled to see those discussions become reality with the installation of a 18.24 kW system utilizing the south facing roof space just above the OnSite Energy shop. Unique Challenges
It's a great opportunity for our company to showcase our quality of work by implementing solar on the roof of our own work space! For our landlords, it was a great opportunity to take advantage of federal tax incentives, along with a 25% grant from the USDA, resulting in a 4 year return on their investment while at the same time increasing their property value and supporting renewable energy within our community. Solar is good business!Easy commute for the crew!
