Derek is a Residential Solar Consultant at OnSite Energy and has been involved in the solar industry since 2008. Over the years, he has gained experience across various roles, including solar installer, electrician, project manager, and now sales consultant. Derek has been a part of numerous residential and commercial solar projects across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, California, Washington, and Montana.He began his solar career at Bella Energy in Colorado, where he worked as an electrician and residential crew lead, earning his NABCEP certification as a PV Installation Professional. Derek later joined SolarCity (now Tesla) as a commercial project manager before transitioning into a sales role at Lumio Energy in Western Washington.
In his free time, Derek enjoys skiing, biking, climbing, and exploring the mountains of the West with his heeler pup, Evie.
