James Goodwin

James graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 and relocated to Colorado, where they began their career in the renewable energy sector with Harness Energy, installing meteorological towers for wind farm development. In 2019, they transitioned into solar energy with Namaste Solar, starting as a commercial installer and advancing to roles in construction management and project management. From 2020 to 2022, they served on the Board of the Namaste Solar Foundation, further solidifying their commitment to sustainable energy initiatives. In 2023, James joined Redaptive as a Solar Program Manager, overseeing commercial projects across multiple states, including California, New Jersey, New York, and Puerto Rico. In the spring of 2024, seeking a change of pace, they moved to Montana and joined the OnSite team.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time camping, hiking, and fly fishing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. They are also an avid traveler and have been playing drums and world percussion for most of their life.
